First Impressions
My first impression of Nepal was great, seeing the Himalayas off the right side of the plane (got lucky to be on the correct side of the plane!). On the ground, I think everyone got a 'what am I doing here' reaction when we began to be pestered/harrassed for money by people claiming to work for the airport. Some of the girls were visibly shaken by that, but I think everyone is enjoying Pokhara. Sonam and Tenzin are of a great help. Unsure what would be better to do for our weekend off - going to chitwan national park to do the elephant ride thing, or go trekking to some place beginning with D so to get a much better view of the snow capped mountain ranges.
