UniBreak in Cambodia! Packing it in!

Update from Sydney Health Science student Alana Pearce Started at 4.30am to get ready for the big charity big ride which was so much fun! And of course we partied on sat night for my birthday - one of the clubs we went to we were the only white people there! So much fun though we danced the whole time =) We are all having such a great time. Loving the culture, and the people! [On behalf on the people at military diability centre]: At the moment we are researching malaria and dengue fever, food prep and water purification for our health promotion lesson tomorrow.. apparently we are teaching about 90 soldiers & wives in the community. Our english classes with the kids in the arvo have been going really well, the kids are adorable. It will be hard not to get too attached! Today we did a lesson on germs and the importance of hand washing to some of the soldiers, complete with examples with buckets and soap and towels etc that we got. We also did an exercise class with the kids in the morn which they love. Sorry there is sooo much we have to do, and sometimes internet is hard to get to!
